I am sure many of you already have seen advertisements everywhere
\nabout the Kars & Kids Show, this event is a fun family festival and
\ncar show benefiting the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD). It will take
\nplace on November 1 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at TSD, at 1102 South
\nCongress Avenue. This is the 4th annual Kars & Kids car show at TSD
\ncampus. There will be various fun-filled activities for children and
\nfamilies. Classic car collections will be on display at the TSD
\nfootball field.<\/p>\n
Our business, Crepe Crazy will have a booth at the Kars & Kids
\nevent. Our booth will offer both sweet crepes filled with an
\nassortment of fresh fruits and sweet sauces, and savory crepes filled
\nwith a variety of ingredients, such as chicken, ham, bacon, sausages.
\nOur time-honored crepe recipes have been passed down for generations
\nin our family. Beverages, such as fruit smoothies, bottles of water,
\nand iced tea will be sold as well. Some of you may not be familiar
\nwith crepes. There are very few creperies in the Austin area. The
\nword, Crepe is the French word for thin pancakes. They are endlessly
\nversatile and can be eaten at any time of the day, from early
\nbreakfast through to a late night snack. Our hearty crepes are made
\nfrom scratch. Both savory and sweet fillings are available and each
\ncrepe is hand-made in front of the customer on unique iron crepe
\ngriddles. Crepes are served HOT and FRESH. You must try one!!<\/p>\n
This event will feature over 100 classic cars and hot rods on display
\nwith lots of fun activities and displays for all ages, including:<\/p>\n
1.Challenges against (2007) World Ten-ball Billiard (Pool) Champion,
\nShane Van Boening;
\n2.Austin Police Department’s Hummer and Motorcycle patrol;
\n3.Manor Police Department’s Squad car;
\n4.Sparky the Fire Dog and the Austin Fire Department’s Fire Safety
\nHouse;
\n5.Cody the Clean Air Bear and Austin Energy’s Clean Air Interactive
\nCar;
\n6.Kid’s rides, games and activities;
\n7.Local food and drinks from: Zen, Torchy\u2019s Tacos, Fuddruckers, The
\nBig Drip Ice Cream Parlor (in Dripping Springs), Crepe Crazy and Latte
\nDolls;
\n8.Chances to win great prizes in a Raffle and Silent Auction; and
\nlots more!<\/p>\n
