Sight Translation has never been sweeter, as GTID, the Golden
\nTriangle <\/p>\n
Interpreters for the Deaf, hosts its first “Cookie Exchange”
\nworkshop. <\/p>\n
Participants will work on skills relating to Sight Translation, ASL <\/p>\n
Classifiers and Numbers in a safe and aromatic environment! <\/p>\n
Recipe for Success: Participants are to bring two (2) batches (one <\/p>\n
for testing and one for sharing) of their favorite “homemade” cookies<\/p>\n
and enough copies of the recipe, to share. Participants will then <\/p>\n
have the opportunity to “describe” their cookie, using ASL <\/p>\n
classifiers, “interpret” the recipe, using sight translation <\/p>\n
strategies, making sure to include all the numbered “measurements” <\/p>\n
needed, for another baker, to duplicate the recipe. <\/p>\n
