I feel I cannot continue to give so much of my time and
efforts when I am doing what is right and my actions are not supported
nor my efforts appreciated.

I have tried very hard to uphold the Bylaws of this organization and
have expected the board members to do the same. Yet somehow, I feel
the Bylaws have been violated countless times such as protecting
include TCD’s funds and preserving membership’s identities as well
as property of TCD.

I have been consultant and advice with National Level Parliamentarian
Libby Pollard of all the inappropriate actions have been happening
with the Officers. So that it already been discussed with her and it
is not done by my own imagination as they call me.

The reasons for the protest are as follows:

A.) The reasons I suspended the club on November 14 of this year are
because the board did not help me as teamwork with following: Deaf
Celebration event, conflict with the Internet provider called “Gisol
Company”, and even assist me in obtaining a lawyer to sue the Gisol
Company on November 6. I managed to do all the work myself to protect
TCD.

B.) On October 15, we had board meeting to discuss serious
infractions by the secretary and proposed that Greg Dodson resign his
post because he did not perform his duties for TCD. I kept telling him
what to do for TCD since one year. I suggested him to resign.

C.) I was going to have general meeting to resolve the problem with
the board but they told members and non-members to cancel it without
my approval as president. According to the Bylaws, the board can not
have the meeting without president’s approval as well as running the
club without the suspension being lifted. These situations need to be
resolved before the club can resume to normal operation.

D.) Remaining Executive Board is not making an attempt to work with
me and follow the Bylaws. Already a few of the Bylaws have been
violated. The remaining officers have not been doing their duties as
stated in the bylaws such as the timely submission of minutes and
financial reports required to submit to the President. We also lost
our valuable website due to failure to make payments to the domain
company by the secretary, Greg Dodson.

E.) The TCD Bylaws states that no actions should harm TCD’s
reputation. That has already occurred when someone sent a message
through the Deaf Network saying that I was no longer the President,
when in fact, I was. The comments made on Deaf Network hurts the
reputation of TCD.

F.) TCD member privacy, according to the Bylaws, has also been
violated. Again, an unidentified person was given our TCD membership
list to distribute information via Yahoo Newsgroups. This was given
out by one or more of the remaining officers, which caused some
members to be upset their email addresses were given out. This never
should have happened.

I have given myself careful consideration on how best to resolve them
in most efficient manner without harming the reputation of TCD. With
the list of my grievances above and many more that I have not
mentioned here. I have decided that resigning as President of TCD is
the best option so as to preserve the integrity of this organization.

Sincerely,

Scott Randolph

TCD President

—

BETTER IP RELAY – EVERYWHERE! i711.com makes all your relay calls better.
Better web calls.
