Hello DAD Members and Friends,<\/p>\n
I do hope everyone had a really nice Thanksgiving holiday. Now it’s
\ntime to burn off some of these calories, ha!<\/p>\n
Wow, it’s December already. And I know some of us will be busy
\nshopping and some of us will be attending our children’s school
\nactivities. Yet I want to highlight several of our upcoming events at
\nDAD, this month, and hopefully you’ll find time to attend one or all
\nof these events.<\/p>\n
A couple months ago DAD Members voted and agreed not to have a
\nGeneral Members meeting during this month due to too many activities
\nand events happening. If any of you have a desire to volunteer and
\nhelp by participating in one of our committees, please do feel free to
\ncontact one of the DAD Board members.<\/p>\n
1. the Winter Holiday for the Children committee has been receiving
\nmany sign-ups for their child\/children. I strongly encourage you to
\nsend your RSVP for your child\/children by December 6 to secure a
\npresent. You may videophone the DAD clubhouse at 214-522-0380 or
\ncontact Susan Lane, a committee member, at suslane@att.net. If when
\nyou do come please bring a dozen of cookies to share, thank you.<\/p>\n
2. the Christmas Ornaments and Crafts Party will be held on December
\n13, and the Chair of this is Maria Walker. She will need you to RSVP
\nyour gifts and money by December 6. Please see flyer for more
\ninformation. Maria can be reached at joshfrog94@yahoo.com.<\/p>\n
3. the CINGO Christmas Dinner fest will be on December 20. If you
\nhave not yet signed up and\/nor paid for this Christmas Dinner, please
\ndo contact Larry Campero, chairperson, to ensure your dinner plate!

4. the New Year’s Eve Party, “A New Beginning: Let’s Move Forward!”
\ntickets are $10 each by Dec 20, and do come and join us celebrate
\nfirst day of 2009 together.<\/p>\n
