Historic Scarbrough Building Features Holiday Display by Students
\nfrom the Texas School for the Deaf<\/p>\n
Austin, Texas \u2013 December 3, 2008 See the Texas School for the
\nDeaf\u2019s (TSD) Window Wonderland in downtown Austin. Throughout the
\nholidays, the Scarbrough building at the southwest corner of Sixth
\nStreet and Congress Avenue, features a unique, multi-media student
\nholiday display in the large, street-front windows.<\/p>\n
A number of young, talented artists who attend Texas School for the
\nDeaf contributed to the exhibit and invite viewers to make it downtown
\nto have a look during the holidays, while learning about at the
\nstudent\u2019s unique culture and the distinguished history of TSD.<\/p>\n
With a strong belief in culture and community at TSD, students form a
\nunique identity based on their individual strengths and talents. At

The TSD Foundation hosts an opening reception, this Saturday,
\nDecember 6, in the Scarbrough lobby, 522 Congress Avenue, from
\n5:00-7:00 pm, in conjunction with the downtown holiday stroll and
\nCapitol tree lighting. Donations are welcome to a giving tree,
\nbenefiting TSD\u2018s performing and fine arts programs. For more about
