Have a kind heart and connect with individuals who feel alone.<\/p>\n

Offer hope to those who are hurting from life happenings. <\/p>\n

Provide a SAFE PLACE for those who want to express concerns, worries,
\nor joys.<\/p>\n

Encourage options to help improve lives and discuss concepts which
\nmay cause peace within each individual.<\/p>\n

About This Group<\/p>\n

Confidential \u2013 Everything expressed in this group stays in this
\ngroup. Each member is required to agree with this rule: Do not repeat
\nanything that is shared in this group. This group is anonymous and
\nwill not share any names or personal information outside the group.<\/p>\n

Your Name \u2013 It is your choice if you want to say your name \u2013 this
\nis not required.<\/p>\n

Trust \u2013 It is important to develop trust. This will help everyone
\nfeel comfortable expressing.<\/p>\n

Research \u2013 Learn ways to cope with different feelings: anger,
\nsadness, feeling alone, feeling no one cares, thinking negative about
\nyou, and other feelings not listed here.<\/p>\n

Support \u2013 Each experience expressed in this group may help someone
\nelse. Always be respectful to the one who is expressing.<\/p>\n

Speakers \u2013 Professionals will be scheduled to attend the group and
\ninform about depression, teach how to be more positive and different
\ntopics such as controlling anger, how to become calm, and other
\nissues.<\/p>\n

Expressing \u2013 Each person may decide what they want to express. Each
\nperson may decide how much they want to express. Each person may
\ndecide to be silent. You may express when YOU feel ready to share
\nfeelings or opinions.<\/p>\n

Take Turns \u2013 Each person must take turns expressing and everyone
\nwill have an opportunity to share their comments. You may choose to be
\nsilent and express when you are ready.<\/p>\n

Solving Issues \u2013 This group cannot solve problems for anyone. Only
\nYOU know what is necessary to improve your own life. This group CAN
\noffer support, care, and love. We CAN learn from each other.<\/p>\n
