Deaf infants and young children wanted for cognitive development

Deaf Infants and Young Children (months to 5 year-olds) who are ASL
\nusers are wanted for language learning and attention research studies.
\nTesting will be done in our Cognitive Development Lab at the
\nUniversity of Houston. <\/p>\n
If your family is coming from outside of Houston, we will pay for gas
\nmileage both ways. In addition, you will be given tickets to one of
\nHouston area attractions (i.e. Houston Zoo or Children\u2019s Museum). <\/p>\n
Your child may be eligible if h\/she: <\/p>\n
1) is severely to profoundly deaf <\/p>\n
2) uses American Sign Language and <\/p>\n
3) does not have additional disabilities. <\/p>\n
If you are interested and meet the eligibility requirements for this
\nstudy, please contact the Cognitive Development Lab to set up an
\nappointment. <\/p>\n
