DEAFDIGEST LAUNCHES WEEKLY COLUMN ON THE DIGITAL TELEVISION
\nTRANSITION <\/p>\n
Washington, DC- As the deadline for the analog television shutoff
\nlooms closer on February 17, 2009, DeafDigest has developed a weekly
\ncolumn about the digital television transition in its international
\nelectronic newsletter targeting deaf and hard of hearing people. It
\nwill answer questions by consumers about the analog shutoff and what
\nthey need to do to prepare for it. <\/p>\n
Barry Strassler, editor of DeafDigest, says “We have been faced with
\nmany questions about this digital and analog TV issue over the past
\nfew years and have addressed it in DeafDigest from time to time. With
\nthe February 17 deadline getting closer, we felt that we needed to
\naddress this on a weekly basis to help reduce the confusion that is
\nalready occurring.” <\/p>\n
