\nEngine\u201d <\/p>\n

Feb. 7, 2009 9:00 A.M. -4: 00 P.M. “What Are You Worth?” presented
\nby: Presented by Micki Baumgart, CI\/CT With the\u201dTune Up Your
\nProcessing Engine\u201d workshop, will be a safe nurturing environment in
\nwhich participants will learn six valuable drills that they can use to
\nhelp improve their information processing skills. Including, but not
\nlimited to:<\/p>\n

A. Double dual tasking <\/p>\n

B. Forced processing time <\/p>\n

C. Information chunking <\/p>\n

D. Increased processing time <\/p>\n

E. Ability to focus during dual audio stimulation<\/p>\n

Demonstrate with and to the participants some unusual aspects of how
\ntheir information processing skills can be influenced by a variety of
\nfactors such as:<\/p>\n

A. Subject matter of the audio source <\/p>\n

B. Gender of the speaker <\/p>\n

C. Gender of the interpreter <\/p>\n

D. Interpreter\u2019s prior knowledge of the subject matter<\/p>\n

The goal of the \u201cWhat Are You Worth\u201d workshop is to lead the
\nparticipants to an understanding of self esteem and all of it\u2019s
\nramifications on a person\u2019s ability to succeed and relate well to
\nothers. ( Helen Keller once said \u201cNever bend your head. Always hold
\nit high. Look the world straight in the face\u201d. )<\/p>\n

Location: San Antonio College (SAC) VATC Bldg. room 120\u2026 limited
\nseating available. Interpreting available upon request. No refunds, if
\ncancellation occurs money will be applied to future SARID <\/p>\n

workshops of your choice.<\/p>\n

$35 for non-members <\/p>\n
