Visual Techniques for Expressive Interpreting and Voicing<\/p>\n

Presented By Michael Bothel<\/p>\n

All proceeds and donations for this workshop benefit the TSID
\nTrustee\u2019s scholarship programs.<\/p>\n

Visual Techniques for Expressive Interpreting and Voicing is designed
\nfor the new and intermediate interpreter. This workshop is not for the
\nstuffy and faint of heart. This workshop will challenge your thinking
\nwhile keeping the environment fun and encouraging.<\/p>\n

Participants will have the opportunity to apply a mix-ture of
\n\u2018hands up\u2019 and non-signing activities in a very supportive and
\nencouraging environment.<\/p>\n

Workshop attendees, working in groups, will be chal-lenged with
\nvisual description activities (both expres-sively and voicing),
\ntechniques for preparing for inter-preting assignments, word choice
\nactivities and much much more.<\/p>\n
