If you don\u2019t think that attending to the ADA training would be
\nbeneficial, answer the questions below:<\/p>\n
1) Have you ever been confused about what ADA really says?<\/p>\n
2) Does a private doctor\u2019s office have to employ at least 15
\nemployees before having to comply with ADA? <\/p>\n
3) Does a Social Security office have to follow ADA?<\/p>\n
4) Under the ADA, are the employers required to pay for the
\ninterpreters for their Deaf\/hard of hearing employees?<\/p>\n
5) Does ADA apply to a public college\/university only, not a private
\none?<\/p>\n
If you answer \u201cYes\u201d to at least one of any above questions, come
\nto my training to find out. The training would empower you learn to
\nself-advocate as a Deaf or Hard of Hearing individual. Here is the

Brian Determan, the ASL-native deaf individual, serves as the
\nDeafness Resource Specialist 6B at Communication Axess Ability Group,
\nfunded by DARS (Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services) –
\nOffice for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. He works with agencies
\nand service providers regarding their access obligations under the
\nAmericans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act. His
\ntraining will empower deaf or hard of hearing individuals with
\nknowledge of their civil rights and how to self-advocate. <\/p>\n
Accommodations for participants such as real time captioning
\n(C.A.R.T.) must be requested by Wednesday, February 25, 2009 for
