The Human Relations Commission meeting will take place, Tuesday,
\nFebruary 24, 2009, at 5:30 PM in the Pre-Council Chamber on the 2nd
\nFloor of Fort Worth City Hall. This is the first meeting since the
\nCity Council passed the resolution pertaining to the deaf and hard of
\nhearing community, which is on the attached agenda (see below) to be
\ndiscussed. This is an important meeting for members of the deaf
\ncommunity to attend and learn how the resolution will be applied
\nthroughout the city departments.<\/p>\n
Remind those who plan to attend the Commission meeting to contact
\nCity Hall to request sign language interpreter and CART services.
\nContacting City Hall in this way helps to build their awareness about
\nthe deaf and hard of hearing community.<\/p>\n

\nprivate institutions, and community groups to organize the city-wide
