Austin, Texas -The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema on South Lamar Boulevard presents a special, FREE, captioned showing of the 1978 musical film, GREASE, on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. to support DeafACT’s upcoming live production of the hit musical, premiering April 3 and 4 at the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD).<\/p>\n

To help raise funds for production costs like costumes and set design, the TSD\/DeafACT cast and crew will gladly accept donations at the door.<\/p>\n

And as a special treat, TSD students starring in the school’s upcoming live production will "sign along" with the music of the film Monday evening for a sneak peek at signed interpretations of music, performed using American Sign Language.<\/p>\n
