As part of our Deaf Awareness series, we will be presenting a free screening of “Beyond Silence” film on Wednesday, March 25, 2009. It will be held at The University of Texas at Austin (UT) in GEA 105 which is on 24th Street two blocks east of Guadalupe. This event is free and open to the public, and will begin at 6:00 PM, ending approx. 9:00 PM. There will be a Q&A session after the film with Katie LaSalle, a hearing child of deaf adults (CODA). Bring your family, friends, refer others who may be interested! This event is sponsored by the Services for Students with Disabilities office with the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement at The University of Texas at Austin. We’d like to thank the ASL Program for their help with planning this special event.<\/p>\n
