Tarrant County College (\u201cTCC\u201d) and North Central Texas Registry
\nof Interpreters for the Deaf (\u201cNCTRID\u201d) are pleased to announce
\nAlaina Webb and Kelly Bothel as presenters in an upcoming workshop.<\/p>\n

Alaina Webb:<\/p>\n
BEI IV\/MASTERS\/COURT<\/p>\n
Alaina Webb has been working as an interpreter since 1989. She
\ncurrently holds Texas Level IV, Masters, and Court certifications, and
\nis working toward her NIC. Alaina has worked in a variety of
\ninterpreting settings including medical, legal, mental health, all
\nlevels of educational, video-relay, and many others. She has taught
\nASL at both Texas Woman’s University and Tarrant County College, and
\ninterpreting at Tarrant County College, and has served as a mentor for
\nover 15 years. She is currently the Manager\/Trainer for the Sorenson
\nDFW Center. Alaina has had the privilege of presenting several
\nworkshops over this last year with her friend, Kelly Bothel.<\/p>\n
Kelly Bothel:<\/p>\n
B.A., BEI III<\/p>\n
Kelly Bothel received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University
\nof North Texas in 1988. She holds a Texas BEI Level III Interpreting
\nCertificate and has fourteen years of interpreting experience. Kelly
\nhas worked in a variety of interpreting settings in the community,
\ntheatre and video relay. She is also in her fifth year as an adjunct
\ninstructor at Tarrant County College where she teaches Sign to Voice,
\nInterpreting I, II and III. For the last nine years, Kelly has been a
\nmentor for interpreting students and novice interpreters. Kelly has
\npresented numerous workshops with her friend, Alaina Webb, at Tarrant
\nCounty College, Region XI ESC, 2008 TSID Conference and 2009 TSID
\nConference upcoming in South Padre.<\/p>\n
