Toastmasters Club for the Deaf<\/p>\n

Calling all Deaf, Hard of Hearing, or Signing Hearing People who
\nwould like to improve their communication and leadership skills!<\/p>\n

A new Toastmasters club will be starting soon in the Fort Worth
\narea.<\/p>\n

Toastmasters\u2019 is a public speaking, communication, and leadership
\nclub that has been around since 1924.<\/p>\n

In Toastmasters you will:<\/p>\n

Work at your own pace<\/p>\n

Learn to be a better \u201clistener\u201d<\/p>\n

Improve your presentation skills<\/p>\n

Learn to be a better leader<\/p>\n

Learn how to motivate and persuade others<\/p>\n

Increase your self confidence<\/p>\n

Learn how to evaluate others<\/p>\n

Gain personal and business success<\/p>\n

Learn how to communicate one-on-one, in a group, or on stage<\/p>\n

Learn how to advocate for yourself<\/p>\n

Learn how to overcome \u201cstage fright\u201d<\/p>\n

This club will be a little different.<\/p>\n

It will be done totally in Sign Language! Interpreters may choose to
\npractice voicing, but please be prepared for there to be NO voicing!<\/p>\n
