We hope to report to you on a weekly basis an update on progress made by Greg Gunderson, a deaf Sioux Falls, South Dakota native who is among 50 stock car racing drivers selected to compete for 12 car rookie spots on the Racin\u2019 for a new reality TV show called Racin\u2019 for a Livin\u2019. <\/p>\n

CURRENTLY NUMBER 4!<\/p>\n

As of yesterday, I ranked #4 in voting thanks to your winning attitude. I appreciate you believing that deaf people can do anything but hear and that I have a great opportunity to send that very message through the reality TV show, Racin\u2019 for a Livin\u2019. Together you and I are creating a winning team to bring both deaf and hearing worlds together. I look forward to July 31st when all votes are tallied and I ended up in the first place!<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t believe how time flies. I can only remember the day more than three months ago when I was selected as one of 50 rookies vying for 12 spots on the TV show. Now here we are on the FINAL lap of this exciting adventure! This week will be very busy for me – keep in touch with my fans and promote the new show. Please stick with me for eight more days, and when I get on the show, I will do everything to help teach the world that deaf and hard of hearing people can do anything but hear.
