The House Business and Industry Committee unanimously passed Texas
\nHouse Bill (HB) 978. Texas Rocks! Now, House Calendars Committee
\nChairman Brian McCall needs to hear from all Texans, in support of
\nTexans with disabilities, to schedule HB 978 for consideration and
\nvote on the House floor. HB 978 makes it possible for disabled Texans
\nto be protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 2008
\nsigned into law at the federal level by President Bush. <\/p>\n
Texans living with disabilities, a friend, neighbor, family member,
\nor someone, who once served in the military or emergency services,
\ncannot wait until 2011 to be considered for the decency and respect
\nany person should be given. Contact Representative Brian McCall today,
\nand let him know how important it is to move HB 978 out of the House
\nCalendars Committee to the House Floor for a vote this legislative
\nsession.<\/p>\n
