Workshop Description:
\nGina Gonzalez will present the workshop “Video Interpreting Philosophy: Standardizing
\nBest Practices and Procedures in Video Relay Service Interpreting” on Saturday, May 23,
\n2009 from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M with a one-hour lunch break. Lunch will be provided. Using
\nRID’s Standard Practice Paper in VRS as a guide, participants will engage in a discussion
\nregarding video interpreting practices. Participants will learn and discuss the governing
\nprinciples of the video interpreting philosophy that enable standardization in service
\nprovision among video interpreters. Participants will discuss accountability for our
\nprofession and consistency in service provision as video interpreters. Please feel free to
