Participants work with<br \/>\nexperienced counselors and instructors who use both English and sign<br \/>\nlanguage, to construct robots, perform science experiments in<br \/>\nhigh-tech labs, and more. Students will stay in residence halls, get a<br \/>\ntaste of life on campus, and meet other students from around the<br \/>\ncountry. <\/p>\n<p>Parents or guardians are encouraged to stay for the weekend and can<br \/>\nget tips to support their student through this time of transition, as<br \/>\nwell as share experiences and information with other parents of<br \/>\nstudents with hearing loss.<\/p>\n<p>The cost for students is $50 for the weekend and includes housing,<br \/>\nmeals and activities. Limited scholarships are available based on<br \/>\nfinancial need.<\/p>\n<p>To register online, go to www.rit.edu\/NTID\/StepstoSuccessNR.
