Vaughn House Vegas Nite 2009<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Vaughn House will be holding their annual Vegas Nite on June 6, 2009, at the Onion Creek Country Club in Austin, Texas. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds from the night will benefit the programs of Vaughn House. These programs empower adults who are deaf and cope with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independent and productive lives.<\/p>\n

The night will consists of a buffet dinner, gaming, cash bar, silent auction and dancing. Single tickets are $40. Different levels of sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from Blackjack for $250, Ace in the Hole for $500 and High Roller for $1000. Local businesses that have already jumped on board are Quotable Quill and Dean’s Shop A\/C. To obtain a registration form, visit www.vaughnhouse.org.<\/p>\n

Since 1969 Vaughn House has offered programs to help clients to live productive, independent lives outside of institutionalized settings. The programs include day habilitation, supported home living and employment opportunities. More importantly they help clients get and maintain employment, raise self-esteem and how to socialize in the world.
