\nentire family to the Houston\/Galveston National Weather Service 2009
\nHurricane Workshop on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the
\nGeorge R. Brown Convention Center. Plan to attend this important, free
\npublic event…the largest of its kind in the nation for:<\/p>\n
* A free lunch courtesy of Wal-Mart for the first 2,500 attendees<\/p>\n
* A generator giveaway courtesy of Home Depot<\/p>\n
* A session to ask your local TV meteorologists questions<\/p>\n
* A free Hurricane Preparedness video and vendor provided items while
\nsupplies last<\/p>\n
* A visit with R.O.N. (Ready or Not), the interactive robot and Louie
\nthe Lightning Bug<\/p>\n
* Hurricane experts from the National Weather Service<\/p>\n
* Information on the 2009 Hurricane Season, evacuation plans and
\npower restoration<\/p>\n
