His wife is Glenda Snyder Ennis. Bill\u2019s<br \/>\nsister, Sharon Snyder passed away two years ago. Bill was a talented<br \/>\nman who was loved by all who knew him.<\/p>\n<p>The 1999 ASL\/Deaf Culture Lecture Series promotion by UVA had this to<br \/>\nsay about Bill:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom serious to fun, that\u2019s Bill Ennis! Ennis is a master ASL<br \/>\nstoryteller and humorist who will share his love of ASL stories and<br \/>\nhumor on Thursday, April 15th. Texan-born Ennis, who received his BA<br \/>\nfrom Gallaudet University, teaches American Sign Language courses at<br \/>\nNorthern Virginia Community College. Ennis also serves as a Sign<br \/>\nMaster for Shakespeare\u2019s Folger Theatre, Arena Stage, and the<br \/>\nKennedy Center for the Performing Arts. His one-man show, \u201cBill<br \/>\nEnnis Live!\u201d, will feature stories, sign mime, Deaf culture and Deaf<br \/>\nhumor. Ennis\u2019s performances have been greeted enthusiastically by<br \/>\naudiences across the nation.
