Following is the agenda for the Fort Worth Human Relations Commission Meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, beginning at 4:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the Pre-Council Chamber on the 2nd Floor of the Fort Worth City Hall located at 1000 Throckmorton Street in Fort Worth, Texas. Please contact Gregory McGee at 817-392-8988 to arrangement accommodations as soon as possible. A meeting was not held in May, so there will be a lot to cover in this meeting.<\/p>\n
This meeting will be especially interesting to the deaf and hard of hearing community. David Ondich, Disabilities Program Coordinator for the City of Fort Worth will give a status report on the City\u2019s progress in implementing the Human Relations Commission\u2019s recommendations for improvements to City services for the deaf and hard of hearing community. Members of the deaf and hard of hearing community and supporters are encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n
Also, keep in mind that you are welcomed to address the Commission about concerns and suggestions during the Citizen Presentations. All you need to do to participate in the Citizen Presentations is to complete a short form at the beginning of the meeting. Information presented during the Citizen Presentations becomes part of the meeting minutes. Rather than share suggestions and concerns after the meeting with Commissioners, it is best to present them during Citizen Presentations to make them a matter of record.<\/p>\n
