SWCID REUNION 2010<\/p>\n
June 2009 NEWSLETTER<\/p>\n
Here is our newsletter report for June 2009 and it was a very hot and
\nhumid day. That is life. Lisa received a lot of mail orders for the
\nyearbook. It was pretty good. Also I received some of email that most
\nof them will pay 75.00 for the yearbook.<\/p>\n
We are still selling the SWCID Reunion 2010 yearbook, it is cost
\n$75.00 dollars from today to December 31, 2009. The yearbook will have 400 pages, color\/black and white, and many more.<\/p>\n
We have three people who are very good and creative with the photos
\nand creative on the computer to prepare for the yearbook. We will have
\nto work on the yearbook on July 11, 2009 at their house because they
\nhave technology computers and everything that they have. Some of the
\ncommittee members will get together and will come and help us as a
\nteamwork.<\/p>\n
We did received the pictures from you and we will put it on the
\nyearbook. We will have many good memories to share. We did look at the pictures and the pictures are very good and great. If you want to send us the pictures. Please do. We need you. Keep sending us more
\npictures– the pictures of snow skiing, dorm , sport activities, SWCID
\nPageant, SGA\/SBG, any event activities, and many more. Any pictures \/
\nphotos are welcome. Please send us. If you send us of your pictures
\nthen want to send it back. You need let me know if you want the
\npictures back. If you want send of your pictures on scanner. Please
\nwelcome. We will take care of it.<\/p>\n
We need pictures of 1980 to 1982. We need you. Please. Anyone who has any photos from 1980 to 1982 please send to us soon, thanks.<\/p>\n
Also if you don’t plan or can’t make it to come to the SWCID Reunion
\n2010 next year in July 2010, we need your present pictures (
\nindividual photo ) so we can put the pictures in the yearbook from the
\npast and to the present, to see how people look in their younger and
\nolder ages.<\/p>\n
Polo shirt with logo, it will cost $20.00 per polo shirt. If you want
\nto send us early bird. We can accept it. Until we will be in SWCID in
\nJuly 2010 and we will put the polo shirt ready for you. We will put
\nlogo on<\/p>\n
www.swcidreunion2010.com and you see it if you like or not. Also we
\nwill sell the T-shirt with three different logos and see if you like
\nor not. We will put it on our website soon. Still under construction..
\nThe T-shirt will cost \/ sell for $15.00. If you want to pay or buy it
\nearly so you can save a little more when you come to SWCID 2010 or if
\nyou can’t make to come and we will mail you your Polo shirt or T-shirt
\nor both. You need to let us know.<\/p>\n
Also we \u201chopefully\u201d finish with combo before September 2009, we
\nwill announce and let everyone know and we will send the flyer to
\nTexas School for the Deaf Homecoming booth. We will put the combo on our website and give me your email address so that we may reminder you to prepare to watch out for the combo order forms soon.<\/p>\n
We need your \u201cBIG\u201d help, we need donations, boosters, and
\nfundraisers, for our SWCID Reunion 2010 in the future. We have too
\nmany activities in Big Spring and we will have both kids activities
\nand adult activities.<\/p>\n
If you or your organization or your company is interested to have
\nbooth, we have forms for you to fill in blank and send us $250.00
\ndeposit for two day (Friday and Saturday). If you need electric, will
\ncost $75.00. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. You are
\nwelcome to ask. There were limit 40 tables. Please go to our website
\nat www.swcidreunion2010.com and click on combo, look for Booth \/
\nExhibit Registration Space. Click on the blue links to get all your
\nforms. Booth forms ( 1 cover letter with 3 pages ) Ad rates ( 2 pages
\n) Donations ( 1 page ).<\/p>\n
Remember we have a donation list on our website that if you would
\nlike to donation for SWCID Reunion 2010 and you will get some free
\nitems. You need to look at the website and you will have to decide and
\nchoose because there have 5 different options that you want to donate.<\/p>\n
Let you know that we have making our Program Book for advertising. If
\nyou or your organization or your company wants to put their ad in our
\nprogram book. We will be happy to put it there but you need to check
\non our website, we have many different options and rates and sizes for
\nthe program book and you will need to decide what options you want.

**********SPORTS******************<\/p>\n
BOWLING<\/p>\n
– In Big Spring, Texas, They have bowling lanes, we went there to
\ncheck it out. They have only 27 bowling lanes, a snack area, liquor
\narea. They have rental shoes and bowling balls. We will make the
\nbowling form and see how many people like to play bowling tourney
\nthere.<\/p>\n
SOFTBALL<\/p>\n
– There have three different softball field in Howard College. We
\nwill use those and we will make the softball form and to see how many
\npeople or team will play.<\/p>\n
DISC GOLF<\/p>\n
– They have disc golf at the Comanche Trail Park \/ Dora Roberts
\nGarrett park and they have 27 . We will divide if there have too many
\npeople , we will use 18 or 17 disc golf for two days. If there is not
\nmany people we will play either 18 or 27 disc golf in one day. We will
\nmake disc golf form.<\/p>\n

********KIDS ACTIVITIES ****************<\/p>\n
We will have a lot of kid activites to keep the kids busy and have
\nfun. We will have a surprise for you. In the case bring the swim suit
\n– who know. Just in case and prepare.<\/p>\n
********** 1980 HISTORIC *****************<\/p>\n
There are about the first 18 SWCID teacher in 1980 but one person was
\ndeceased. We are trying to get 17 SWCID teachers come, please let me
\nknow if you plan to come and we want to feel welcome all of them to

We need your help, where are they?? We need them to come our SWCID REUNION 2010 for the 30th Anniversary. We will have a big event with four days from July 8 to 11, 2010 (Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon ).<\/p>\n
Also the students who first came to SWCID in 1980. We need you, too.
