We are non-biased about communication modes or methodologies, and believe that given good information and support, families can make the choice that is right for their child. Our diverse membership includes those who are deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing impaired and their families who communicate orally, with signs, cue, and\/or combined methods. We exist to help our children reach their highest potential. We also open our organization to professionals who are interested in a family, child-focused approach to service delivery. Our motto is “What works for your child is what makes the choice right.”<\/p>\n
If you are interested in getting email updates and\/or would like to receive the newsletter, please go to our website at www.txhandsandvoices.org and submit an email request with your contact information and your area of interest. The TX H&V chapter is accepting memberships! Go to www.txhandsandvoices.org to join. You can join on-line and submit your dues via Paypal or download our membership brochure and pay by check. With your membership you will receive The National Hands & Voices Communicator on a quarterly basis, the TX chapter newsletter, and email updates on statewide events. Your membership dues will help us build our network and our voice! We are dependent upon subscription to our newsletter and other donations in order to function.
