High School Sophomore, Junior and Senior GIRLS,
\nwho are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, and have a passion for ART!<\/p>\n
Be motivated by some of the finest artists in the business, and present your artistic skills! Join us at<\/p>\n
ART CHICAS UNIDAS<\/p>\n
for a one-day, hands-on art workshop – lunch with Dallas Art Dealers – and an opportunity to display your talent at a public reception.<\/p>\n

\nNovember 7th, 2009<\/p>\n
From 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. students will be partnered with local artists, who will work in the artistic medium of each student?s preferred choice. Students will be mentored in that medium and create a piece of art during the workshop.<\/p>\n
From 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. each student’s work will be exhibited for sale at the gallery of La Reunion TX. A portion of the art sales proceeds will go towards funding the next ART program.<\/p>\n
