Black<br \/>\n(585) 475-6840<br \/>\nkaren.black@rit.edu<\/p>\n<p>RIT\/NTID Science Contest for Students with Hearing Loss  <\/p>\n<p>ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 13\u2013Students with hearing loss in grades 6-11 can submit their science projects for the second annual National Science Fair for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students and win up to $500 in cash awards, a plaque, and other prizes.<\/p>\n<p>Students can compete individually or in a two- or three-person team in middle school and high school divisions. <\/p>\n<p>To qualify, students must submit an entry form and project summary of up to 500 words. Judges will choose finalists in all three divisions, who will be invited to attend the Science Fair, April 27-29, 2007, at RIT\u2019s Rochester, N.Y., campus to showcase their project and compete for first, second and third places.<\/p>\n<p>For an entry form, acceptance criteria, display regulations and a schedule of activities at the fair, visit www.rit.edu\/NTID\/ScienceFair. The deadline to submit project summaries is Feb. 1, 2007.
