North Texas Deaf Senior Citizens wants to remind you about the upcoming
\nevent this month.<\/p>\n

“LEARN ABOUT DIABETES”
\nwill be spoken by Denise Anderson, RD, CDE<\/p>\n

Wednesday, September 23, 2009<\/p>\n

Arlington Public Library
\n(George W. Hawkes Central Library)
\n101 East Abram Street, Arlington, Texas<\/p>\n

9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

You will be encouraged to attend this important meeting to learn how to take
\ncare of your diabetes. And also, you can ask important questions about your
\nhealth in order to prevent diabetes. The presentation will start at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n

A sign language interpreter will be provided.<\/p>\n

When the presentation is over, there will be a great deaf joker on the ASL
\nearth, telling us about the comparision between old times and today.<\/p>\n

Thereafter, everyone can enjoy socializing with each other or playing your
\nfavorite game until the end of hours.<\/p>\n

You will need to bring a brown bag for your lunch time.<\/p>\n

Please share your buddy system telling the other deaf and hard of hearing
\npeople about this important event on this coming Wednesday, Sept. 23rd,
\nespecially for those who are having diabetes.<\/p>\n
