http:\/\/austindeafcrusade.weebly.com<\/a><\/p>\nA special non-denominational meeting to learn about more about God will be
\nhappening in Austin, Texas in just a few weeks. Many churches in central
\nTexas are working together to sponsor the Austin Deaf Crusade called “Jesus
\nis Mine 2009”.<\/p>\n
This whole event is FREE. It will be in ASL as the first language, with
\nvoice interpreters for non-signing English speakers. Other special needs
\ncan be met upon request.<\/p>\n
Everything will be held at the Monarch Event Center, 6406 N. I-35, Suite
\n3100, in Austin, Texas (near I-35 and the 2222, on the east side of Highland
\nMall).<\/p>\n
Three different awesome speakers are coming from out of town for this huge
\nevent – more than 250 D\/deaf and hard-of-hearing persons are expected to
\ncome. Already more than 100 people from all over the state of Texas have
\nsigned up. John Graham (Deaf) from Canada will be the main speaker for the
\nadults. Nathan Fylstra (Deaf) from Oklahoma will be the main speaker for
\nyouth ages 12-21. Miss Vonda (Hearing) from North Texas will be the main
\nspeaker for children ages 5-12.<\/p>\n
In addition to the speakers, there will be music (ASL style), exhibit
\nbooths, the opportunity for you to get a free lunch, “moonwalks” bounce for
\nkids, youth activities, chatting, and more surprises! Bring the whole
\nfamily! Tell your friends!<\/p>\n
The doors open on Friday night at 6 PM with the first meetings at 7 PM for
\nadults, youth, and kids. It continues all day on Saturday with doors
\nopening at 9:00 AM; 10:00 AM meetings for adults, youth, and kids; free
\nlunch for ticketed people; afternoon fun and games for everyone; and the
\nfinal meetings at 4:00 PM for adults, youth, and kids. Also childcare for
\npre-school children ages 0-4 will be there during each of the 3 meeting
\ntimes.<\/p>\n
