October 20th “Meet the Deaf Day” at S.E. Tarrant County College has been
\nreserved this year for Deaf Culture Day and for groups or organizations of
\nthe Deaf to come and tell us who you are and how you support or serve in the
\ncommunity. we have reserved the North Ball Room here for this event. Please
\nemail an out line of your presentation, how many in your group and how much
\ntime is required for your presentation. Interpreter provided if needed or
\nyou are welcomed to bring your own Interpreter.<\/p>\n

We are also encouraging your talent of teaching us ASL. We want to get to
\nknow you better and your language. Table games are welcomed and encouraged;
\nvendors are welcomed to come and display items and give out information, but
\nno selling is allowed at this event.The Sponsoring Organization is ‘Art of
\nAmerican Sign’ here on Campus, which is a new student organization connected
\nwith various Deaf Organizations with a mission to encourage more of Deaf
\nCulture and ASL into our Campuses. The BEST Teachers of ASL are the Deaf.
\nDeadline for accepting presentations or groups sign ups is October 14, 2009.
\nThis is your chance to share your culture,games, talents,business and
\nlanguage here at TCC S.E. Campus. Contact us today, we are ready to set up
