Greetings in the name of the Lord<\/p>\n

My name is Pastor Steve Parker. In September 07 the Lord allowed me and my
\nfamily to move to Austin, TX to establish a deaf church. So, then in
\nFebruary 08 we started Maranatha Baptist Deaf Church. We have seen many
\ndeaf come to the knowledge of salvation. We have also seen many deaf fall in
\nlove with the Lord. It is my interest and belief that the deaf of Texas
\nneed to work and fellowship together to reach more of the deaf world with
\nthe gospel of Jesus Christ. Unity is very important and is taught in the
\nbible (2 Timothy 2:23-24).<\/p>\n

I believe our deaf ministries and deaf churches would benefit if we would
\nget together and fellowship and grow together. So I am interested in
\nstarting a fellowship called Texas Deaf Baptist Fellowship. We will meet
\nthe 2nd Saturday of every month at 2pm at different churches. The host
\nchurch will provide the preacher and a meal (something simple). Other
\nchurches attending will provide a choir, drama and a bible quiz team. Our
\nchurch will host the 1st Fellowship November 14. We have a dynamite
\nassistant preacher from Arizona coming in, Mike Langin.<\/p>\n

I encourage all to come to the 1st fellowship to see what it is about. We
\nwould like for you to let us know if you would like to attend. Getting an
\naccurate count will be necessary so we can make sure we have enough food.
\nThe bible quiz will be over Romans chapter 1. Feel free to call me with any
\nquestions or comments. If you would like to do a skit or a drama call me so
\nI can schedule you in.<\/p>\n
