We are having a job fair and an interpreter workshop at Lone Star
\nCollege-CyFair on Friday, November 13th. These events are FREE!!!<\/p>\n

The workshop has been approved for 0.2 RID CEUs. This event brings together
\ninterpreting agencies, colleges, school districts, and video relay companies
\nlooking for qualified sign language interpreters. Topics asked of the
\npanelists will include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 What does professionalism mean to you?
\n\u2022 What elements should interpreters include on a resume?
\n\u2022 Is it important to create a portfolio of sample work?
\n\u2022 What types of professional development opportunities do these businesses have to offer after being hired?<\/p>\n

The Job Fair will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Conference Center Lobby
\nand the Panel of Professionals Workshop will be held from 7:00-9:00 pm in
\nCENT 151-153.<\/p>\n
