KaBOOM! is a national nonprofit organization whose vision is a great place
\nto play within walking distance of every child in America. KaBOOM! – It
\nstarts with a playground.<\/p>\n

Wahoooo! Our Misenhimer Play Day & Ecofest is one of five finalists for a
\n$10,000 playspace improvement grant from the national non-profit KaBOOM! and
\nNFL PLAY 60. We were selected from over 1,000 Play Days that took place
\nthis past September because we had such a great event!<\/p>\n

Now we need your help! To receive the grant we need you to vote for our Play
\nDay as your favorite. It\u2019s really simple, just go to kaboom.org\/playday and
\nfind the event title \u201cMisenhimer Play Day & Ecofest.\u201d You can watch a quick
\nvideo about our Play Day and the other four finalists. Then click the big
\n\u201cVOTE\u201d button. You can vote once every 24 hours from now until December 1,
\n2009!<\/p>\n

Our kids need your help. The more times you vote, the better our chance to
\nreceive the grant to improve a playspace for the kids in our community.<\/p>\n

Communities across the country held KaBOOM! Play Days to give kids a dose of
\ngood old-fashioned outdoor fun, and our Misenhimer Play Day & Ecofest was
\nselected as one of the best!<\/p>\n

As a KaBOOM! Playful City USA community, Arlington, hosted three
\nsimultaneous Play Day events. Kids had fun with water at the splash pool,
\nparticipated in a park clean-up, or learned about eco-friendly initiatives.
\nNot only did these events encourage children to get outside, but there was
\nan educational component too. Your vote could help Arlington create a
\nbarrier free playground for disabled children and their families.<\/p>\n

Please vote for our Play Day! With your help we can improve a playspace for
\nthe kids in our community. We would really appreciate it if you could send
