Dallas Association of the Deaf is pleased to announce the New Year\u2019s Eve party on Sunday, December 31, 2006.<\/p>\n

The door will be open at 10:00 A.M.<\/p>\n

The meeting hall and the bar will be decorated and filled with tables and chairs for your socializing and game-playing.<\/p>\n

Dallas Cowboys will play the last game of the season versus Detroit Lions. The kick-off is at 12:00 Noon. We have three televisions in the building. There is a giant screen television in the meeting hall and two televisions in the bar for your enjoyment.<\/p>\n

Cold and hot football-game snacks will be provided.<\/p>\n

After the football game, Dallas Association of the Deaf will provide board games and card games for your entertainment. We also do have a pool table and a ping-pong table.<\/p>\n

There will be a formal wear contest so let\u2019s dress up NICELY!<\/p>\n

The SILENT AUCTION is back for the third year. This year, there will be ILY-handshaped items and interior-designer brand items.<\/p>\n

The door prizes will be drawn hourly.<\/p>\n

The buffet will be served all night. The menu for the party is spaghetti-and-meatball or baked ham with mashed potatoes, corn, and green beans. Breads, rolls, and desserts will be included. Grab your glass filled with champagne before the stroke of midnight. Celebrate the New Year of 2007.<\/p>\n

Come to enjoy the fun, celebrate with your old friends, and make new friends.<\/p>\n

Bid farewell to outgoing officers and meet our new officers for 2007. Cathy Edler is the new president along with Donna Lide as vice president, Marianne Sasseen as secretary, and Laura Moore, as treasurer. Meet the new board members: Preston Ashley, David Normad, Kent Reneau, Maxine Satarino, and Steven Whitworth.<\/p>\n

Admission: $10.00 for EVERYONE until December 16 (CINGO Night).<\/p>\n

$15.00 after December 16 and at the door.<\/p>\n

The bar will be open and we will have two rounds of \u201chappy hour.\u201d So get your favorite beer or wine during these times.<\/p>\n

The profit from the party and silent auction will go to renovating project fund for Dallas Association of the Deaf\u2019s clubhouse. Preston Ashley is the head of renovating project committee.<\/p>\n
