Hurst, Texas, December 18, 2009 \u2013 Artisan Center Theater proudly presents
\nSWING! The Musical at its 150 seat theater-in-the-round. The theater is
\nlocated in the old historic Belaire Plaza at 420 East Pipeline Road. The
\ndaytime box office is located at 418 East Pipeline Road. The show runs
\nFriday January 1 through January 30, 2010. Performances are at 7:30pm on
\nMonday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3 pm matinees on
\nSaturdays January 9, 16, 23, 30, 2010. Reserved seating tickets are $16.00
\nfor adults, $14.00 for students and seniors, and $9.00 for children 12 and
\nunder. Monday through Thursday tickets are $12.00. The box office number is

\nuniquely American form of popular music and dance known as \u201cswing.\u201d
\nRequiring only joyful enthusiasm and a ready partner, swing exploded out of
\npre-war Harlem’s hotbed of youth culture and swept the world. It shattered
\nethnic and cultural barriers, generating specialty styles such as Jive,
\nLatin Swing, Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing and Hip-Hop Swing. SWING!
\ncelebrates this remarkable diversity to the beat of the most exhilarating
\nsongs of the period.<\/p>\n
