Sign Language Interpreters – Level III and Higher<\/strong><\/p>\n

We need volunteer sign language interpreters who are interested in joining the Discovery! mission.<\/p>\n

Discovery! is interested in opening the training for individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing and use sign language. In this beginning stage of the new services, we are searching for skilled, competent individuals who adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) and the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID). We are looking for volunteers for the Discovery! weekends to team with one of our other volunteer skilled interpreters to facilitate communication for Deaf individuals interested in having a life changing experience.<\/p>\n

If you have been through Discovery! and are certified by the Texas BEI as a Level III or higher, RID certified or qualified to sit for either tests please<\/p>\n
