Please help my daughter’s education!<\/strong><\/p>\n

My wife and I have been struggling with our school district for more than 3
\nyears to provide my 9yr old daughter an appropriate education. She was born
\ndeaf and then was found to have mild Autism at 3yrs old. MISD refuses to
\nlet her attend the Regional Deaf School in Plano. None of my daughter’s
\nteachers have been fluent in Sign except for the AI teacher who comes in for
\na whole 1hr per day (what a joke!).<\/p>\n

We are in the process of taking them to Due Process and so we ask that
\nanyone who is interested please come show support for my daughter as well as
\nall other Deaf children who need to have proper education. Nothing is
\nrequired except that you just be there to help us show them what Deaf
\nculture and ASL is all about and you can come or go anytime you want. We
\ntruly appreciate any help you can give!<\/p>\n
