Story Setting: Chicago during the 1930’s – 1940’s<\/p>\n

Story summary: Three deafies are framed by the Mafia and blamed for blowing
\nup the Downtown Speakeasy owned by the Mafia. While the deaf are jailed and
\nfront paged the world over, the Mafia laugh as they rip off $$$ millions $$$
\nfrom fraudulent insurance claims, thanks to the abused deafies.<\/p>\n

Fear grips the lives of Chicago’s deaf community victimized by Bullhead &
\nCo., Chicago’s most notorious gangsters.<\/p>\n

But the Mafia underestimated the bravery of the 3 deafies. Regardless of
\ntheir fear, the 3 deafies put their guts and wits to the challenge…<\/p>\n

DEAFIA is born…!!!<\/p>\n

…and Chicago has never been the same!<\/p>\n

Who will play the role of GLORIA, the deaf bookkeeper that the Mafia wants
\nto grab for their own greedy needs?
\nGLORIA is one proud, intelligent deaf lady who will not work for the Mafia.<\/p>\n

Who will act the role of DINGY, the deaf printer supervisor? DINGY was
\nfired as a deaf teacher at the deaf school due to the sinister influence of
\nthe Alexander Graham Bell Association. But he gets up again and moves on in
\nlife. DINGY protects GLORIA from the evil claws of the Mafia.<\/p>\n

And who will perform the outrageous role of JIM the DEAF PEDDLER, who
\nfigures out how to outwit the Mafia and beat them at their own games?<\/p>\n
