Texas Hands & Voices Training Retreat 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

Texas Hands & Voices is having a PAL (Parents as Leaders) Training Retreat
\nin the Corpus Christi area on Friday January 29 – Sunday January 31, 2010.
\nWe currently have registration open until January 13th. You are either a
\nParent or family member of a child that has a hearing loss that might be
\ninterested in attending or know other parents that might be interested or
\nare a professional that works with families that have children with hearing
\nloss. This is a great opportunity for parents to “get away” away for the
\nweekend, learn, relax and socialize with other parents. (see below for full
\ndetails)<\/p>\n

Please pass this on to anyone that you might think would be interested. We
\nare staying at a wonderful camp, Camp Aranzazu on the Gulf Coast. The $40
\nregistration covers housing and food for the weekend and all materials being
\nprovided during the training. There are also scholarships available for the
\nregistration and travel that can be applied for through the registration
\nform.<\/p>\n

\njust started the journey as a new parent or you have been traveling the path
\nfor many years and have older children, we invite you to attend a training
\nfor parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Learn how to help
\nlead your child to success by participating in this training and networking
\nwith experienced parents and professionals.<\/p>\n

How can you be a part of an effort to provide support and leadership to
\nfamilies and encourage positive change for children who are deaf or hard in
\nhearing in Texas? Come to the Parents as Leaders (PAL) training retreat and
\nfind out! Registration begins at 4:00 pm on Friday, January 29th and retreat
\nactivities conclude on Sunday, January 31st at noon. The registration fee is
\n$40, which includes 2 nights lodging (must share a room), meals, all
\ntraining and networking sessions and a one-year membership to TX Hands &
\nVoices. This event will be held at the beautiful Camp Aranzazu
\n http:\/\/www.camparanzazu.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n
