The New York State Unified Court System is seeking to expand its roster of
\nAmerican Sign Language (ASL) interpreters. Courts throughout the state have
\npart-time, full-time and freelance court interpreting opportunities for
\nindividuals fluent in English and ASL. ASL interpreters are required to hold
\nprofessional certification by a recognized credentialing authority,
\naccording to Section 390 of the Judiciary Law.<\/p>\n
