Work Based Learning Summer Youth Employment – Austin<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Austin\/Travis County Work-Based Learning \/ Summer Youth Employment
\nProgram provides young people with the opportunity to earn valuable work
\nexperience while earning financial independence during the summer. Youth
\ncompleting Job Readiness Training can have an opportunity to work five weeks
\nfor four hours per day, with the public sector or non-profit
\norganizations. Accommodations and modifications are provided in order for
\nour youth with disabilities to successfully complete their work assignments.<\/p>\n

For young people wishing to get a head start on gaining knowledge of the
\nworkforce and who have a positive and energetic attitude, this is your
\nstart! The world awaits our youth and The Work-Based Learning \/ Summer
\nYouth Employment Program can provide young people the opportunity to get a
\nhead start on their future!<\/p>\n

Requirements
\nFor Youth With Disabilities;
\nMust be 14-22 Yrs. of age
\nMust be able to work independently
\nReside in Austin\/Travis Co.
\nMust be attending school & have school id\/report card
\nMust have a valid SS Card
\nMust complete Job Readiness Training
\nParent\/Guardian must attend first day of training.<\/p>\n
