DAD President Message – February 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hello to all members and friends of DAD<\/strong><\/p>\n

To my surprise, I was selected as a President for 2010 and now I am exciting
\nto be able to take this position. I enjoyed being DAD Vice President in the
\nlast three years. I want to congratulate our officers and board members for
\nthe year 2010. I believe we will make a great team together.<\/p>\n

My several goals for DAD as President are to accomplish by making DAD a
\nbetter organization, have more and better events plan and to increase more
\nmembers. I really would like to see all of us, DAD members, to become one
\nbig family.<\/p>\n

Some of you may notice that a few changes are happening already at DAD. The
\nDAD office have been clean up and furniture have been rearranged. We have
\nthe men working outside; painting the exterior of the building and touch up
\nwork at the patio. I want to express my gratitude and thanks to Preston
\nAshley, Mitchel Bien, David Normand, Jesse Carrizales, Steven Whitworth,
\nChristian Nicolay, Alfredo Gonzales and Wil Monteleone for volunteering
\ntheir time and work at our clubhouse.<\/p>\n

I want to remind you that DAD has a website where everyone can check our
\nupcoming social, activities and events. If you desire to use DAD’s hall for
\npublic or private party, please contact our social director, Steven
\nWhitworth (swhitworth@dallasdeafclub.org).<\/p>\n

We will have Ladies’ Night on Feb 6th, Super Bowl Party on Feb 7th (please
\ncheck the flyer for more information) and Scrapbook Retreat on Feb 13th
\n(contact Melissa Scriber). Please check our DAD calendar bulletin board at
\nthe clubhouse and\/or website
