Box 1748<br \/>\nAustin, Texas 78767<br \/>\n(512) 854-4100<br \/>\nFax (512) 854-4115<\/p>\n<p><strong>Help Identify Community Needs in Travis County<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Travis County invites the public to participate in community forums where<br \/>\nresidents will have an opportunity to present community needs and recommend<br \/>\nprojects for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for usage in the<br \/>\nunincorporated areas of Travis County. The information collected in the<br \/>\nforums will guide the selection of CDBG projects for the Program Year 2010<br \/>\n(October 2010 \u2013 September 2011) and help determine the priorities for the<br \/>\nfunding of the next three program years (October 2011 \u2013 September 2014).<\/p>\n<p>The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program is funded by the United<br \/>\nStates Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to benefit Travis<br \/>\nCounty low- to moderate-income residents who live outside any city limit.<br \/>\nThe program supports community development activities aimed at revitalizing<br \/>\nneighborhoods, improving affordable housing options, and providing improved<br \/>\ncommunity facilities and services.
