Interpreting in the Church Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n

Connie Miller and Kathy Baynes will be presenting a workshop for church
\ninterpreters who want to improve their skills while interpreting in a
\nreligious situations.<\/p>\n

The date is Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Family Cathedral of Praise in
\nMesquite, Texas from 9 am to 2 pm.<\/p>\n

We will be discussing how to
\nuse classifiers in church interpreting
\nchurch phases
\nhow to sign slow and fast songs
\nHow to go to the next level … from an interpreting service to a deaf
\nministry.<\/p>\n

If you are a church interpreter or a student of as and would like to improve
\nyour skills …. please email me at conniecaymiller@aol.com to register<\/p>\n

The cost of the workshop is $20.00 for pre-registration, and $25.00 at the
\ndoor.
\n(this is a fund raiser that will enable us to take our deaf choir to
\nminister in at a deaf camp) .<\/p>\n

As of now , there will not be any CEU’s for this workshop but expect another
\nworkshop on the second Saturday in April.<\/p>\n
