I provide services, equipment demo\u2019s, presentations,<br \/>\ninformation, resources, referrals and awareness on hearing loss issues. I am<br \/>\nalso hard of hearing, and have been my whole life so being able to help the<br \/>\ncommunity is a passion to me not just a job!<\/p>\n<p>In my job position I can introduce you to various assistive listening<br \/>\ndevices that can enhance the utility of hearing aid(s). I can demonstrate a<br \/>\nFM System for class settings, Bluetooth device for cell phones working with<br \/>\nhearing aids, Loop systems, and many people might not have seen these. The<br \/>\nglory of this is that this is a free service and I am not trying to sell<br \/>\nanything, just trying to help the deaf and hard of hearing become more aware<br \/>\nof what technology and resources are available through the state and assist<br \/>\nthem in their needs. An office visit with me guarantees a wealth of<br \/>\ninformation, pamphlets, handouts and resources all at no charge.<\/p>\n<p>I can also give a 15 &#8211; 30 minute talk (or longer presentation) about helping<br \/>\npeople learn ways to live with their hearing loss whether it be mild or<br \/>\nsevere. This talk would include state resources and laws that help this<br \/>\npopulation, showing and demonstrating assistive listening devices as well.<br \/>\nThe information can help people in school, home or workplace.
