Social Worker<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSalary – $3220.74 – $4025.93 Monthly. Commensurate with experience.<\/p>\n

Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n

Serves the deaf and hard of hearing community by conducting client and\/or
\nfamily psychosocial and\/or needs assessment and obtains maximum benefit from
\nall available sources. Develops and implements client\/family individualized
\nservice plans and monitors progress. Provides brief counseling and crisis
\nintervention to individuals and\/or their families to resolve crisises.<\/p>\n

Prevents future crisis and promotes progress toward self-sufficiency and
\nindividualized service plan goals and outcomes. Provides short or long-term
\ncase management and service coordination in manners and settings conducive
\nto best client outcomes. Utilizes community resources to assist client in
\nlearning to live as a self-sufficient member of the community, including,
\nbut not limited to, medical resources, local, state and federal agencies,
\ncommunity-based agencies and other resources.<\/p>\n

Provides client\/family education, training and advocacy. Uses evidence
\nbased practices and remains current with standards of profession. Writes
\ninformational reports and compiles data\/information in accordance with
\nprofessional standards and policies.<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements
\nMaster\u2019s degree in Social Work AND two (2) years social work experience
\ncounseling individuals in crisis\/trauma situations.<\/p>\n

Licenses, Registrations, Certifications, or Special Requirements:
\n*Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
\n*Valid Texas Driver\u2019s License.<\/p>\n

Preferred: Fluency in ASL<\/p>\n

Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and works some weekends<\/p>\n

Work site: 2201 Post Road, Austin, Texas<\/p>\n
