Hurst, Texas, February 19, 2010 \u2013 Artisan Center Theater proudly presents
\nBRIGADOON at its 150 seat theater-in-the-round. The theater is located in
\nthe old historic Belaire Plaza at 420 East Pipeline Road. The daytime box
\noffice is located at 418 East Pipeline Road. The show runs Friday March 5
\nthrough Saturday April 10, 2010. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday,
\nTuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3 pm matinees on Saturdays
\nMarch 13, 20, 27 and April 3 and 10, 2010. Reserved seating tickets are
\n$16.00 for adults, $14.00 for students and seniors, and $9.00 for children
\n12 and under. Monday through Thursday tickets are $12.00. The box office

\u201cOnce in the Highlands, the Highlands of Scotland, two weary hunters lost
\ntheir way.\u201d It is this desolate situation which Tommy Albright and Jeff
\nDouglas, two young New Yorkers, are contemplating when the lights come up on
\na misty glen in Scotland. As the two exhausted men reflect on what they have
\nforsaken in the States for their present predicament, a lift in the Highland
\nveil reveals to them the awakening village of Brigadoon; a village which
\ncomes into being for only one day in each century. It is a place where love
\nand magic are one and the same. Swinging kilts, bagpipes and bonnie lassies
\nfill the stage with marvelous songs and dancing. It includes Almost Like
\nBeing in Love, The Heather on the Hill, There but for You Go I, Come to Me,
\nBend to Me, My Mother’s Wedding Day, I’ll Go Home with Bonnie Jean, and
\nWaitin’ for My Dearie. This is a tribute to simplicity, true love and
\ngoodness, which is hidden from the ordinary traveler.<\/p>\n
