Senior Center Open House Events for D\/HH Senior Citizens – San Antonio<\/strong><\/p>\n

DATE: Tuesday, April 6 and Thursday, April 8, 2010<\/p>\n

TIME: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

CITY: San Antonio<\/p>\n

Two Open House events will take place at two senior centers as a follow-up
\nto the AACOG’s Bexar Area Agency on Aging (BAAA) Town Hall Meeting in
\nDecember 2009.<\/p>\n

Visit the senior centers and learn what San Antonio’s Senior Centers
\nprograms and services are available for seniors.<\/p>\n

Tours and presentations by Senior Center staff will start at 1:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Discuss if one of the senior centers can become a regular meeting place for
\ndeaf and hard of hearing seniors.<\/p>\n

If you are 60 years old or over, you can have a lunch at 12:30 p.m. ($0.50
\ndonation requested). You must reserve your lunch by Tuesday, March 23.<\/p>\n

If you do not reserve your lunch by March 23, you will not get a lunch!<\/p>\n

Seniors under 60 years old can attend the presentations and tours.<\/p>\n

Sign language interpreters and assistive listening equipment will be
\navailable.<\/p>\n
