New Video Contest Announced by Sorenson Communication<\/strong>s<\/p>\n

SALT LAKE CITY\u2013(BUSINESS WIRE)\u2013Sorenson Communications\u00ae, the leading
\nprovider of Video Relay Service (VRS) for deaf and hard-of-hearing
\nindividuals who use sign language to communicate, today announced its
\nsponsorship of the first-ever \u201cExpress Yourself\u201d Video Contest.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorenson recognizes the power of visual communication\u2014especially the power
\ninherent in sign language,\u201d notes Ron Burdett, Sorenson Communications Vice
\nPresident of Community Relations. \u201cThe goal of the contest is to encourage
\nthe creation of video content that contains sign language, is deaf-related,
\nor contains representations of deaf culture.\u201d<\/p>\n

The theme of the Video Contest is \u201cExpress Yourself.\u201d There are three
\ncategories for entrants:<\/p>\n

* Entrant under 18 years of age
\n* Entrant 18 years of age or older
\n* Sorenson employee<\/p>\n

Entrants may submit any genre of original video, including film and
\nanimation. Videos must be between one and ten minutes long and will be
\njudged solely on the following
\ncriteria:<\/p>\n

* Incorporation of the theme \u201cExpress Yourself\u201d
\n* Originality
\n* Creativity
\n* Use of sign language and\/or representations of deaf culture
\n* Cinematography and editing<\/p>\n

One winner in each of the three categories will receive a $1,000 award and
\nmay also be considered for public screenings worldwide or be shown through
\nthe Sorenson Communications Video Center.<\/p>\n

Entries will be accepted from March 3, 2010, through April 27, 2010. To
